On 14.1.1899 he married Hattie Carrol in Perry County, Tennessee. They were living in Cumby Texas when their daughter Lillie Mae was born 7.8.1901. Shortly after that, Hattie ran off with another man. George loaded all of his belongings into a covered wagon and brought his baby daughter back to Perry County, Tennessee. According to the 1910 census report, George and Lillie were living with Edward E. Bell where George (33) was a hired farm laborer. Daughter Lillie May is also mentioned, age 8. On 14.9.1913 he married Jennie DePriest Sanders. They had no children. Jennie was born 16.3.1882 and died 4.5.1928. George died 22.9.1951. He and Jennie are buried in the DePriest Bend Cemetery, beside Highway 13 in Perry County, Tennessee. George Albert made his living by farming and raising livestock.
