Willie N. Barrs Services Held
Funeral services for Willie N. Barrs, 64, of Pineview were held at 2 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home, Linden. Burial was in Danielsburg Cemetery. Mr. Barrs died Friday January 7th at his home. He was an employee of the State Division of Forestry. Survivors include his widow Mrs. Nancy Aldridge Barrs, two daughters Mrs. Reida Shanes and Mrs. Sylvia Gibson; five sisters Mrs. Lena Carlton, Mrs. Velera Wilsdorf, Mrs. Sue Horner, Mrs. Verda Curl and Mrs. Oda Cotton, one half brother Fount O'Guin all of Linden and six grandchildren.

Willie N. Baars was born 10.7.1912 and died 7.1.1977. He married Nancy Aldridge (8.2.1909 – 31.1.1996) on 1.1.1936. He was a carpenter, a farmer and a fire tower fire-watch for Perry County. He was a very nice and kind hearted man who never spoke harshly of others. He and Nancy had two children: Sylvia married Fernie Gibson and Rheda (born ca. 1946 – died 8.2.2011) married Pip Santi. Willie N. Baars and his wife Nancy are buried in the Danielsburg Cemetery in Perry County, Tennessee.
